Clinical Research Assistant University of Kansas Medical Center (Physical Activity and Weight Management). The Clinical Research Assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Physical Activity and Weight Management, is responsible for delivering both individual and group-based health education, exercise instruction, and exercise testing. This role involves working with various populations, including individuals with intellectual or mobility-related disabilities. The Clinical Research Assistant plays a role in supporting the implementation and evaluation of physical activity, nutrition, and weight management interventions, offered both in-person and remotely. Within the Division of Physical Activity and Weight Management at KUMC, Clinical Research Assistants contribute to all phases of study implementation, assist with data collection, and perform outcome assessments for a variety of physical activity, nutrition, and weight management research programs.Full Position Discription.

Graduate Research Assistant- Missouri State University. The Kinesiology Graduate Program (MS) at Missouri State University (Springfield campus), with tracks in Sports/Human Performance and Sport Pedagogy, is currently accepting applications for graduate teaching assistantships starting in the spring 2027 semester. Assistantships are renewable for a maximum of two (2) years. Housed in the School of Health Sciences (School of Health Sciences – Missouri State), the Kinesiology Graduate Program prepares students for careers in strength and conditioning, exercise physiology in clinical and fitness settings, coaching, education, sports administration, as well as research and academia. The program’s curriculum emphasizes application and theory in strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, biomechanics, exercise and sport psychology, sports administration, statistics, and research methods. Postdoctoral Fellowship- University of Oklahoma Health Campus. The University of Oklahoma Health Campus and the NCI-Designated Stephenson Cancer Center are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join a collaborative research program under the joint mentorship of Dr. Zachary C. Pope and Dr. Michael C. Robertson. The fellowship is an initial 1-year appointment, with the potential to extend based on funding availability and satisfactory performance. As Co-Directors of the Active Living & Vitality Lab, Drs. Pope and Robertson work on a variety of research projects involving physical activity and dietary behaviors as well as mindfulness and wellness promotion among those living with and beyond cancer or with select neurological conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis). They are recruiting a highly motivated scholar committed to advancing an independent program of research in exercise oncology, behavioral science, health promotion, and/or digital health to improve health and well-being across diverse populations in Oklahoma and beyond.
